It’s so much fun to get together with friends and talk about books. And trust me, it gets even more fun as you get older.
The best part is you get to decide how it goes. I’ve included some questions about the book, Secrets, to get you thinking, but you can run your book club however you want, with games and quizzes. (Check my “Just for Fun” section for ideas.)
You can have bean bag chairs and stuffies, snacks, or whatever. You can even bring a frog if you want (Bess would approve), dress up like your favorite character, and end your book club with hide n’ seek, which is one of Hazel and Bess's favorite games. But hide n' seek is also how they ended up discovering the time machine in the first place… so be careful with that one.
